Okay, I put this on my to-do list before the end of the year because it’s something I really just never thought about needing to be done & now I’m disgusted. I almost just threw away all her bath toys & started over with new ones, but I wanted to put them to the test & see if I could get them truly deep cleaned & sanitized properly. So here is what I did!

Fill the sink with some good ol’ Dawn Powerwash for some bubbles.

Two slightly overflowing capfuls of Young Living THIEVES Cleaner! This is what really got them clean & sanitized. Soak them with these two together & as hot of water as you can get it in the bath or even just a sink! The water got so dark & I left it to soak for a few hours (until the water was cold) . Don’t forget if they are toys that water can get inside or squeeze them so they soak up the suddsy water to help clean the inside so *you know what* isn’t inside getting your kiddos sick! Make sure you also empty & rinse with just clean water afterwards too. I also seen some people who plug these toys once they clean & dry them so they don’t have the chance to collect gunk on the inside, but I didn’t go that far this round lol. Anyways, after the soaking for a few hours & water all gross looking. I drained the water & refilled the sink with fresh hot water, no soap this round. Make sure to scrub any toys if they need it & once they had a nice little soak again I just put them out to air dry & made sure they were 100% dry before putting them back in her bathroom toy holder. Ready to go! Now I feel better as a mom for today lol.
